The International Baccalaureate Program was established to provide an intellectually rigourous and acadamically demanding common curriculum for students in schools around the world. Its strengths come from the best of many national systems. The International Baccalaureate is a widely recognized two-year comprehensive program encouraging critical thinking, research skills and service as a part of the learning process. It will prepare students for post-secondary success at any university, locally, nationally, or internationally. The course work is more broadly based and provides a greater depth of study than does the provincial course or many of the other enrichment programs available.
